Wasn't there a song out there which had lyrics that stated that "starting over is hard to do"? After my sudden and devastating loss of Braendon, it was time to pick myself up and do just that. A very special thanks to Nicole McIllwrick of Synecdocke Belgians in Alberta Canada for offering me the chance to be a co-breeder on the re-breed of Brenner to Adzuki. After meeting Nicole's pick bitch from the first litter, I was excited that I was going to be able to have a pup from this combination to call my own (and to be a co-breeder as well!) In sticking with the mountain theme Tai was named after Mount Tai, or Taishan, one of the five sacred mountains in China. Mount Tai is renowned for sunrise, birth and renewal, a fitting name for the next multi-tasked boy here at the Big Mountain. It also helps that this was Nicole's "T" litter as this name indeed fits the newest member to a T! Tai is already demonstrating loads of play, prey, hunt and retrieve and his social skills can't be beat! An ever-happy boy with a tail that never stops and a grin that goes ear to ear, his enthusiasm for life is contagious. I can't wait to get him in the show ring and start his SAR training as I am thinking that there isn't going to be much out there that holds this boy back and sure that he isn't going to have any problems following in daddy's pawprints.
