Located minutes from Glacier National Park and Big Mountain Ski Resort in Northwest Montana, Big Mountain Belgians is pleased to be able to call this beautiful part of the world home.

Although not yet a breeding kennel, I wanted to create an identity. So adopted Big Mountain Belgians as the "kennel" name. The dogs are all indoor/outdoor dogs who kindly share both the bed and the couch with their humans.

I pride myself on Belgians that can "do it all." Here at Big Mountain Belgians, my goal is help preserve the versatility as well as the beauty of the Belgian Shepherd and am pushing the bar on proving that these dogs are "not just another pretty face". To date, we proudly have the only Belgians of any flavor to have earned weight pulling titles through the International Weight Pull Association with multiple top scores, medals and invitations to the International pull-offs and the first Belgian to have earned a weight pulling title through the United Kennel Club. In addition to participating in conformation and performance events, the boys are (or have been) successful working Search and Rescue dogs as well. My favorite saying is that our dogs "have working dog hearts and herding dog smarts."

So, grab yourself a cup of coffee, sit back in your favorite computer chair and enjoy your "mini-tour" of our little corner of the world and the Belgian Tervuren who live there.
